Speaker: HE Dr. Gedeon Timotheos, Minister of Justice of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia
Dr. Gedeon Timotheos will present on the topic The Impact of Aid on Ethiopian politics and Geopolitical Dynamics. Q & A to follow.
Bio: In 2022, he served on the seven-member peace negotiation team appointed to resolve the conflict in northern Ethiopia. He recently drafted the guidelines for accountability for human rights violations committed during the conflict. Before joining the current administration, he was a faculty member at the Addis Ababa University School of Law. He has studied Law at Addis Ababa University and Central European University.
